Introduction
The tours visit one of the most tourism important area of Costa rica, La Fortuna, Arenal, there is The Arenal Volcano National Park, on the northwestern region of Costa Rica, between the Tilaran Mountain Range and the San Carlos Planes. The Arenal Volcano National Park is a living laboratory because of its geologic and geomorphologic richness and its complex biological processes development, that forms from folk vegetation up to primary forest.
The Tenorio National Park also hides one of Costa Rica´s treasures. The Rio Celeste (the blue river) is named after the color of its water, a bright jewel-blue, caused by many dissolved natural minerals, like cobalt. Hike through secondary and primary rainforest, home to pumas, tapirs and other animals. There are also streaming hot and cool springs of the local volcanoes, mineral mud pits and the blue lagoon of the Rio Celeste. A pool at the bottom of a waterfall allows the adventurous to swim in its blue waters.
The Gulf of Nicoya has a beautiful archipelago that is home to seabirds, white sands, and the flora and fauna that make our Central Pacific coast so special. Within this group of islands, we find the world-famous Isla San Lucas, site of the highest security prison in our history, where human rights did not exist for the prisoners. The time when the prison was in use is known as the dark age of our justice system.
